On August 26, eight vaulting clubs from Slovakia gathered in the grounds of the National Stud. The reason was the penultimate round of the Slovakian national ranking, the Slovak Vaulting Cup 2023. For all vaulters, loungers and their horses, it was an opportunity to improve their previous scores in their category. At the same time, it was the last competition before the Slovak Championships, which will be held on 15-17 September 2023 at Masaryk's yard in Vígľaš.
Within individuals, five age categories were evaluated. Among the younger female children, Nadia Marčeková from JK SŠ Ivanka pri Dunaji did the best on the horse Camélia. In the category of younger children - men, the best result was given by Oliver Forró from TJ SOUP Šaľa on a horse Hádes. 15 competitors fought for the championship in the category of older children - women. The victory was won by Katarína Nagyová from JK Farao Trnovec n/Váhom on Constantin. Nikolíny Filip on the horse Quirado-15 / Reno from JK SŠ Ivanka pri Dunaji won the best result in the category of older children - men. Among the juniors, Soňa Janigová from JK Freestyle Poprad had the best performance on Leo da Vinci.
In the pas de deux category, local vaulters Stella Strečková and Laura Balážová won on the horse Leon. Second place was won by a couple from TJ SOUP Šaľa – Viktória Tóthová and Mia Spiszaková, and Rebeka Kemény and Júlia Tara with the horse Camélia from JK SŠ Ivanka at Dunaji finished in the third place.
The squad competition is always the most attractive for the audience. In the category of younger children, the squad from JK SŠ Ivanka pri Dunaji, consisting of Naďa Marčeková, Vivien Šimková, Tereza Truchlíková, Alžbeta Milková, Vanda Knotková and Laura Horváthová, on the horse Trouble Maker Z, led by Pavel Zagat, won.
In the junior category, the best performance was given by the squad from JK at NŽ Topoľčianky, consisting of Andrej Meňhert, Laura Balážová, Stella Strečková, Gabriela Karáčová, Sebastián Kodak and Zoja Kunkelová. They rode on the horse Leon under the supervision of Boris Kodak.
Leon from the home club JK at NŽ Topoľčianky became the best evaluated horse in the pas de deux and squad category. Leo da Vinci from JK Freestyle Poprad, led by Ján Tribula, won in the individual category.
