Visit of the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, in the National Stud Farm TopoľčiankyOn October 17, 2024, the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, visited the Nitra Self-Governing Region. He concluded his regional trip with a visit to the National Stud Farm in Topoľčianky, continuing the tradition established by the first Czechoslovak president, T.G. Masaryk, when each of the former Czechoslovak and Slovak presidents visited the National Stud Farm.

Accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, Richard Takáč, the Chairman of the Nitra Self-Governing Region, Branislav Becík, and the Mayor of the municipality of Topoľčianky, Juraj Mesko, he was welcomed by the Director of the National Stud Farm, Ing. Samuel Sokol. After the ceremonial four-team of noble Lipizzaners and the most demanding exercise of the Classical Topoľčianky School – the capriola, the distinguished guest was shown the stallion Maestoso XIV Timrava, a symbolic gift for Queen Elizabeth II.

Finally, the President signed the commemorative book and then had his photo taken with the riders of the Topoľčianky National Stud Farm.
