On August 2, 2025, grand celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Tlumačov State Stud took place at the Bahňák racecourse. The Topoľčianky National Stud and its Classical Topoľčianky School were invited to participate in the rich gala program.
Lipizzaner stallions were part of a quadrille of four stud farms – Tlumačov State Stud, Písek State Stud, Kladruby nad Labem National Stud, and Topoľčianky National Stud – where 16 stallions of various breeds performed an impressive choreography to music.
The next presentation was by the Classical Topoľčianky School. The audience could watch work on the long rein, the Spanish walk, demanding dressage exercises such as piaffe, passage, canter pirouettes, jumping every canter jump, and also one of the movements in the air – the levade.
A capriole performed by Václav Macek and the stallion Pluto XX-27 was given a special space as the “highlight” of the entire program.
