Christmas Concert at the National Stud Farm

On December 7, 2025, the first Christmas concert was held in the historic riding hall of the National Stud Farm in Topoľčianky. Although it was a somewhat unusual event for an institution focused on horse breeding, it attracted a fairly high attendance and received positive feedback from the public.

Students and teachers from the Zlaté Moravce Elementary Art School, which has been opening doors to music, visual arts, dance, and theater for over 80 years for all age groups, were featured in three performances. With an innovative approach and an emphasis on practical skills, the school teaches both classical and less traditional instruments in the music department. It regularly organizes concerts, exhibitions, and competitions, including at the international level. In Topoľčianky, Zuzana Molnárová, Soňa Meňhertová, Mária Pupáková, Stela Páleníková, Oliver Pupák, Peter Komár, and Štefan Jurík performed.

With her resonant voice, visitors could enjoy the original creations of the Slovak singer-songwriter Jana Máčovská.

The audience was also introduced to the violin virtuoso MATHIA, who loves horses and even owns one herself. And it comes straight from the stud farm of the National Stud Farm. She discovered the magic of the violin in her childhood, and her efforts have brought her numerous awards. One of the greatest is second place in the 2021 Czechoslovakia's Got Talent competition. Today, her artistic signature is the original blending of genres – she perfectly mixes touching classical music with energetic pop. With her dynamic performance, she has lifted more than one audience member out of their seats.

At the end of the premiere Christmas concert, all performers were thanked by the director of the National Stud Farm, Ing. Samuel Sokol. The performances of all the musicians were met with prolonged applause and so-called 'standing ovations.
