Grand Riding Day at the National Stud Farm Kladruby nad Labem

On May 30, 2026, the National Stud Farm in Kladruby nad Labem hosted the 80th edition of the Grand Riding Day, featuring riders and horses from the National Stud Farm in Topoľčianky. The unforgettable atmosphere of this magnificent event was shaped by a rich program with numerous guest performers, beautiful weather, and exceptional visitor interest.

Spectators could enjoy 14 performances showcasing more than one hundred horses. These were primarily the traditional highlights of the Kladruby Riding Days, some of which were enriched by presentations from international guests representing six prominent European state stud farms. One of the program’s main highlights was the Grand Riding Quadrille, performed by forty riders from nine European state studs and stud farms: the National Stud Farm in Kladruby nad Labem, the German state studs Marbach and Redefin, the Swiss National Stud Avenches, the Slovenian Lipica Stud Farm, the Hungarian Szilvásvárad State Stud, the Slovak National Stud Farm Topoľčianky, and the Czech state studs Písek and Tlumačov. This joint presentation represented a collaboration of major breeding institutions that are members of the European State Studs Association (ESSA).
