Sport Master Dominik Pružinský
He was born 30.7.1921. At the age 14 he entered Topoľčianky stud farm training departement in 1935 under the Russian trainer Osip Osipovič Slobodinsky. Thanks to his severe training, Dominik Pružinský gained great physical condition and education. After finishing the school in 1941, he became a soldier in Motešice.
After that he returned to work in Stud Farm Topoľčianky. He became the training departement leader and top of the dressage. He actively represented ČSSR for 21 years. He has riden a lot of horses during his life.
Among his most successful representative horses belong Our Orange, Vietor, Jemen and Orion. He finished second in Bad Achen in 1966 and seventh at the World Championships in Zurich. During ČSR era he obtained
13 championship titles and 27 international placements. Thanks to his successful results in the dressage competitions, in 1958 he was titled Sport Master.

He was born 1.5.1927 and after finishing the primary school in 1941, at the age 14, he entered the Stud Farm Topoľčianky. He became a member of the stud farm training departement under the legendary Osip Osipovič Slobodinsky. After the basic training, he addressed himself to the equestrian duties. He took part in 30 plain horse races , 52 steeplechases. His best results were gained with Admirál and Silná.
Since 1954 he has addressed himself to the classical riding – dressage, military and show-jumping.
He gained the best results with Jiná and Renáta in dressage. In military competitions he compted with Silná, Przedswit, Renáta, Furioso XIV and Omen. He became three times the Master of Čsr. He finished fourteenth at the World Championships in Switzerland. Thanks to his great results he was nominated with Omen to take part in the 1960 Olympic games in Rome. Omen got enjured on the second day of the Olympics and dismissed from the cempetitions. Thanks to his seccessful sport results, especially in military, he was named the Sport Master in 1961.
In the show-jumping competitions during 1947-1985, he achieved 33 victories and 50 cempetitions placements with the following horses : Kľudná, Bodák, Catalin, Libanon, Silná, Gera, Renáta, Kryštáľ, Kriváň and Rekord.
In 1970s, he started with competitions of four-team of Lipizzaner horses.
František Hrúzik together with the Sport Master Dominik Pružinský managed the training departement during 1958-1982. They combined training with sport competitions.
Although he retired in 1987, he works as a maanger of the museum of horses. He has been working in the stud farm for 68 years (1941-2009).
