Visit of the President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová, to the Topoľčianky National Stud

On April 17, 2024, as part of her visit to Topoľčianky, the President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová, visited the Topoľčianky National Stud, thereby maintaining the tradition established by the first Czechoslovak president T.G. Masaryk, when each of the former Czechoslovak and Slovak presidents visited the National Stud.

In the courtyard of the historic riding school, the head of state was welcomed by the director of the National Stud, Michal Horný. After a short program in the riding hall with a presentation of Lipizzaner in the "Classical Topolčianska School", a tour of the stables followed. The President was keenly interested in the history and current mission of the only state horse breeding in Slovakia.

She was also interested in a rare spicemen of the restored historic coupe of the first Czechoslovak president T.G. Masaryk, which she personally tried. At the end, she signed the commemorative book and took the publication of the National Stud from the hands of director Michal Horny as a souvenir from the employees. Subsequently, she took a photo with the riders and employees of the National Stud.
