Breeding seminar in Topoľčianky

On March 29, 2025, the breeding seminar was held again in the National Stud Farm. Its focus is primarily dedicated to horse breeders, but everyone who is interested can participate. This year, almost thirty interested parties came. In addition to many breeders, teachers from the Šaľa Secondary School of Horse Breeding and Services, representatives of the hippology department of the Bratislava Police Force, representatives of the Košice Zoo and the Nitra RVPS came.

The first of the topics presented was "Horse Nutrition", which was presented by Prof. Ing. Branislav Gálik, PhD. from the University of Applied Sciences in Nitra. After a short break, another no less interesting topic followed, "Horse Parasitology", presented by MVDr. Jitka Válková.

Unfortunately, due to zoohygienic measures in connection with preventing the spread of SLAK livestock disease, the tour of the historical riding stable and the presentation of breeding stallions have been cancelled.
